Scheduling of multiple feeds on parallel units, with decaying performance.

To run the optimization model these are the steps you need to follow:

1) Input Data

You must first click on the "input" button at the left side of your screen. A page will appear on the right side with options for you to choose from. First you select which algorithm you wish to use for the optimization. You can select from either Dicopt++ and Branch and Bound with both theBeadth First Search and Depth First Search rule approaches. Then you must pick an example from the list, and click on the "submit" button at the end of the page.

2) Run GAMS

Once you have inputted your data, you are ready to run GAMS. To do so, click on the left side button "run optimization". When GAMS has finished, the phrase 'normal completion' should appear on the very end of your right side window. Please be patient and wait until you see that GAMS has finished, otherwise you won't get your results.

3) View Results

When GAMS has finished the optimization and the 'normal completion' phrase appears, you are ready to see the results the model has generated with your input data. To see these results click on the "summary of results" button at the left side window. Here you can see the information on the model you have just run, as well as the results the interface found. Make sure to click the "refresh" button on your browser to make sure you get the latest results generated. You can take a look at the optimal schedules for each furnace by clicking on "FURNACE #" button. You also have the option to view the listing files generated by GAMS.
